What we are testing here is that I believe there is a bug in both Windows 10 and Windows 11 where the virus definitions are updating properly to the latest version, but this is not getting properly logged in Windows Update, leading to administrators believing the latest definitions are not installed. Check the Windows Update history on the device by opening the Settings App, and navigating to Update & Security -> Windows Update -> View Update History -> Definition Updates, note the latest version number.Check the latest security intelligence version available at, note the latest version number.Must have Windows Defender configured in MEM Intune with the option "Enter how often (0-24 hours) to check for security intelligence updates" set to less than 24 hours OR be using the Windows 10 Security Baseline which will have this value set to 4 hours by default.Must be using MEM Intune and Windows Update for Business with configured Windows 10 Update Rings set to Semi-Annual Channel.(other builds may work, but so far we have only detected the bug in 21H1 and Windows 11 Flight 2.)
